Spiritual Focus

At Salem we believe that Knowing Jesus Christ is the ultimate solution to all a person's problems.  We seek to teach God's word found in the Bible and model Christ to the residents every chance we get.  If a behavior issue arises in the daily life of a young man here, we view that as an opportunity to teach a Spiritual truth. 

Jesus came to save sinners.  The staff at Salem recognize that we are sinners changed by a merciful God.  It is our prayer that the young men who live at Salem will come to a realization of their own sin and their need for Jesus Christ. 

In addition to daily chapel services, we go to church weekly, attend youth groups and Bible studies both on and off campus. We seek every opportunity to teach God's word and its principles to the boys in our care. 

Nothing has the power to change a hurting, emotionally damaged young man like a relationship with Jesus Christ.
