We are in need of (28) twenty-eight Universal Toilet Repair Kits. These are generally less than $30 each.
Work Team(s) Needed
We have recently received a generous donation of carpeting. We are in need of several teams of carpet installers that would be willing to put the carpeting in various locations throughout the campus. Please call Greg at (815)796-4561x102 or email Greg.
Carpet Cleaning Machine
Rug Doctor Machines have a long life span and would be ideal for our situation. The cost is around $800.00
Water Heaters
We are in need of 6 (six) new water heaters. These need to be at least 50 gallons capacity. Two (2) are natural gas and three (3) are 220 single phase electric. The 6th water heater needed is to install in our laundry facility. Two (2) of these water heaters would be in our cottages and should be 80 gallon water heaters as to support 15 boys per cottage taking showers. This project would also need a work crew to install these items. The 50 gallon water heaters are no more than $450.00 each and the 80 gallon water heaters are approximatily $650.00 each.
Needs List
We are in need of a small laundry facility with (4) four sets of commercial grade washers and dryers to serve our boys laundry needs. We have located a source that can send us rebuilt commercial grade washers and dryers. These machines come with a guarantee to operate for 10 years with no problems. These machines are more expensive than non-commercial machines.
The cost of these machines is approximately $2,500 per pair. The cost of a small building to be our laundry facility can be built for less than $20,000. Donations of any size can be excepted and designated for this project
We are in need of monetary donations to help support the ongoing daily expenses of serving our young men and their families.
Beyond the money needed to fund the daily operations of Salem Ranch, there is need for all sorts of items in good, working condition.
