program?
A. You may contact our admissions counselors via phone or e-mail.
Within 24 yours, you will receive confirmation of your request,
and an admissions representative will contact you to answer any
further questions.
Q. What is the average length of stay in your program?
A. From the day a boy is placed in our program, our goal is
to return him home. Changing the way a young man thinks and
providing treatment is not the same for all boys. We strive
for the teen to return home in nine to twelve months.
Q. What times of year do you accept new placements?
A. Parents may enroll their boys at any time during the calendar
year.
Q. How do I know if my son belongs at Salem Ranch?
A. Salem has identified several common behaviors and tendencies
that your son may be exhibiting. The online confidential questionnaire
can be found on this website by clicking here. Salem evaluates each potential
candidate on a case-by-case basis, which allows for a customized
treatment program.
Q. What is the policy regarding confidentiality?
A. We follow all federal and state laws, rules, and regulations
concerning confidentiality. All information regarding your son
is strictly confidential.
Q. Where are you located?
A. We are located in rural Flanagan, Illinois, 30 miles north
of Bloomington/Normal and 90 miles south of Chicago.
Q. What is the average age of the students in your program?
A. We are licensed to accept youth from 12 to 18 years of age.
Q. Can I visit my son?
A. Yes. Parents are always welcome on campus. You will be able
to observe activities and the daily life of your boy. He
will be free to spend time with you during his free time.
