Horse & Charity Auction
“Sale for the Right Reasons”

Salem Ranch announces their 19th Annual “Sale for the Right Reasons.” This annual auction held at Salem Ranch, two miles south of Flanagan at 15161 N. 400 East Road, is fun for the whole family, and it helps provide the critical funds necessary for the care of troubled teen boys that live on campus. Registration will start at 8:00AM for the auction. The charity auction begins at 8:30AM with many items that include handmade quilts, artwork, collectibles, kitchen items, power/hand tools, electronics, vacations, furniture and many other items.

There will also be a bake sale with various sweets and sundries that will surely excite your sweet tooth along with concessions that will include delicious pulled pork sandwiches, Gondola’s from Avanti’s, popcorn and drinks.  The best part of the day is the peace that comes from watching horses, kids playing, and having conversation with friends and family.

The horse auction begins at 1:00PM with an excellent variety of horses. The horses are groomed and readied for the auction by the boys and staff at Salem Ranch. Come watch the horses, and if you are so inclined, you can buy your own horse.

The horses and charity items are available to preview on Friday night April 11th, 2006 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. This auction comes at a critical time to help insure the successful operation of Salem Ranch, and ultimately the success of these young men in their communities and homes.

Join us for a fun family day featuring the horse and charity auctions and great food! All proceeds will go toward the ministry of Salem Ranch where we are devoted to seeing God change and rebuild the lives of young men.
